SCHOOL DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1997, Aaresther Divine School sits atop a large expanse of land situated in Ajao Estate. The school consists of mainly a large field for outdoor activities and two double storey buildings. The first storey building, which houses the primary school section, is L-shaped and consists of the administrative offices, library and classroom sections of the primary school. It also includes the school hall, sick bay and computer laboratory.

The second floor of this building accommodates the secondary school classrooms and library. The second building which is adjacent to the first consists of the secondary school’s administrative offices, staff room, technical workshop, science, and food and nutrition laboratories. It also includes the Music and Creative Arts laboratories. Aside these two buildings is a storied security building large enough to accommodate the security office, drivers’ lounge and sales office.

There are two entrances to the school; the first is via the main gate which leads directly to the primary school section and the multipurpose field, while the second entrance is via the back gate that leads directly to the secondary school section. Also in a corner of the school compound is a kitchen which caters for the teachers and pupils/students during break and also for parents during school organized meetings such as Parents Teachers Association meetings.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Admission forms are obtained from the school office at a cost, and written test is conducted for the intending students to assess their suitability for the class applying for.

The written test is followed by oral interview which will determine the appropriate class to place each candidate.

Successful candidate(s) is/are thereafter directed to the school office to get information on how to proceed with registration.
